How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

Every homeowner who contacts Speedcouncil Plumbing should have a fair and honest experience. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page explains how to raise a complaint and what happens after you do. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Raise

You can contact us about:

  • Your experience calling or contacting Speedcouncil Plumbing
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this site you think is unclear or incorrect
  • The conduct of a plumber we connected you with

Problems With a Provider

The plumbers in our network are independent businesses. Each is responsible for its own estimates, pricing, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the usual first step is to take it up with the plumber directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback about providers helps keep the network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of our expectations may be removed from it. Please note that Speedcouncil Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work or make decisions on a provider's behalf.

How to File a Complaint

Email contact@speedcouncil.com and include:

  • Your name and how we can reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you recall
  • The name of the plumbing provider, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what you would like us to do

What Happens Next

We will confirm by email that we received your complaint, usually within a few business days. We will review what happened, which may include contacting the provider. We will then reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If you are not satisfied with our response, reply and ask us to look at it again. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with plumbing work, your state or local plumbing licensing board may also be able to help.
